You’ll see the folder quickly fill up with Applications. If you want to save this smart folder, click “Save” in the top right corner. Put in a name and choose where to save it. The default location is a “Saved Searches” folder, but you can save it anywhere you’d like. Either way, it’ll be added to the sidebar for easy access. If you have added files to the right-hand section of the Dock (or the bottom, if you position the Dock on either side of your screen), a single click will open that file. When iCloud or your computer backs up your device, it backs up your shared files as well.
If you delete an app with shared files from your iOS or iPadOS device, you also delete those shared files from your device and your iCloud or computer backup. To avoid losing shared files, copy the files to your computer before deleting the app from your device.

Delete files
To move a file to the Trash, drag the file to the Trash in the Dock. Or select one or more files and choose File > Move To Trash (Command-Delete).
To remove a file from the Trash, click the Trash to open it, then drag the file out of the Trash. Or select the file and choose File > Put Back.
